Aims and scope
IJLGMR is a quarterly, peer-reviewed, open access journal publishing original scholarship at the intersection of law, governance, and the disciplines that inform them.
Aims and scope
The Journal welcomes original, unpublished research addressing any area of law — constitutional, criminal, corporate, environmental, international, and beyond — without restriction of subject. Alongside legal scholarship, IJLGMR actively invites work from political science, public administration, economics, sociology, and international relations. Submissions from these disciplines are welcome where the analysis engages meaningfully with legal or governance questions.
The Journal publishes four issues each year, carrying a minimum of twenty articles per issue. It does not publish themed or special issues; every issue is of general scope, and manuscripts are assessed on their individual merit rather than fit to a predetermined theme.

Indexing and discoverability
IJLGMR pursues indexing in a deliberate sequence, tied to what each index actually requires — not simultaneously, and not before the Journal has a genuine record to show. Status is stated plainly below and updated as each stage completes.
Within the first month of Volume 1, Issue 1ROAD
The Directory of Open Access scholarly Resources is populated directly by the ISSN International Centre once the Journal's ISSN is issued. No separate application.
Google Scholar
No application process. Once articles are published on crawlable pages with proper citation metadata, Scholar indexes them on its own crawl schedule.
Manupatra
Published articles are uploaded directly to Manupatra's article repository, making them searchable to its institutional subscriber base.
DOAJ
Application follows once editorial policy has been live and consistently applied across several issues.
SCC Online & HeinOnline
Approached directly once the Journal has a small publication history to point to, rather than through self-serve application.
Scopus & Web of Science
Require a sustained publication and citation history, and a genuinely international author base, before an application is realistic.
The Journal does not claim inclusion in, or approval by, any index it has not been formally admitted to.
Readership
The Journal is written for law students, academic researchers, practising advocates, policy professionals, and scholars in allied social sciences. All content is freely available to any reader without subscription, registration, or institutional affiliation.
Publisher
IJLGMR is published by Vidhi Insights, currently operating under a proprietorship registration while a formal entity is constituted. The registered office address will be published on this page as soon as that registration completes, and before Volume 1 goes to press.
